Ramadas

The term “Ramada’s” is generally used to describe a framed structure with a metal or steel top or cover. There are wood Ramada systems but they are typically found in residential environments are do not do as well in Southwest UV exposure. Metal top Ramada’s are popular in geographic areas that require weather protection that includes rain and snow as well as sun. They are often found in areas popular with the general public, like city parks, pools and playgrounds where vandalism can be high and security coverage low. Ramadas are also installed over industrial work areas that involve welding or other “heat-related” activities. Other similar shade system types include Cabanas, Pergolas, Gazebo’s, and Trellises – available as pre-fabricated “kits” or unique custom structures.
